On June 22 President Obama signed into law a Congressional overhaul of the nation’s main statute for reviewing potentially dangerous chemicals in everyday household products. It’s an impressive day when Congress is able to reach agreement on anything in today’s poisonous political atmosphere.
Or at least it was until Speaker Paul Ryan launched a massive attack on the enviroment later that day.
So much for bipartisan cooperation.
